Hi,
I use to play (5 min + 3 sec) Blitz and many times :
- the game is just fantastic and exciting
- I got enough time remaining... but my opponent has just few seconds left !
- I really really would like to continue the game...
.. .but the game ends because my opponent has no more time and this is extremely frustating for me !
Would it be possible to implement a new functionality allowing to give additional time to the opponent (ex. 15/30/60 sec) ?
For example, just a simple button
+30 sec
to give 30 seconds to the opponent.
Thanks for your understanding !
Bibi Fall.

This already exists, but it's 15 seconds not 30. However, both players need to have it enabled. Make sure you have it enabled at https://lichess.org/account/preferences/chess-clock#giveMoreTime and if your opponent has it enabled too, then you can click the blue plus to give more time. Be aware that some people perceive it as trolling even if that was not your intent.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer !!!
But one question :
WHERE is the "BLUE PLUS" to be clicked to give 15 sec ?

I have it turned off, but I believe it should be next to the clocks. If you don't see it, make sure you have it enabled (check the setting I linked), and if you still don't see it, that means your opponent has it disabled which you can't do anything about. Hope that helps.
Also, I am assuming you're on desktop, but if you're on mobile it might be different.

Thanks I got it !
I was not on Desktop that's why I could not see the functionality !
But it seems that this functionality is not available on mobile app (I've checked with both Android and iPhone).=> no BLUE + button at the right of the clock's opponent !!!
Could it be possible to implement it ?

There are two apps, the old one and the new one which is still in beta. If you're using the old one and it's not implemented, it is unlikely they will implement it since the old app is deprecated and you may want to switch to the new one or just use the website until the new app is out of beta. If you're using the new one, it probably just hasn't been implemented yet. You could raise an issue here: https://github.com/lichess-org/mobile/issues
(Disclaimer: I don't use either mobile app so I am not sure of their functionalities.)
