We can stop cheaters account creation by limitation play if you not have at least puzzle rating after 20-50 puzzles.
If you not cheat it is not problem to do 20 puzzle before first tournament.
We can also use puzzle rating to search players.
It is just idea.
So then how do you keep people from cheating at puzzles?
There's a reason that there isn't a leaderboard for puzzle ratings.
Just strengthen the entry conditions for all tournaments at least, say 1,000 games played and account at least a month old. This would help keep repeating cheaters out of tournaments, make reporting more meaningful, reduce the load on cheat detection resources, etc.
what we really need to do is make it mandatory to sit in a electric chair while you are playing on lichess.
Hook it to your computer with a usb of course.
If you cheat; you cook.
My suggestion is at least 20k games played. With at least 100% completion rate and an account age of at least 5 years.
#1, The problem with puzzle ratings is that they are commonly overrated or underrated compared to your own rating, for example, mine is 2000. Also. #2 is correct -- you can cheat at puzzles, and no one can stop that.

@Cezary_Wagner Your idea is good,and if a user does solve a puzzles,then it will most likely make sure to have by 1% less cheaters than Lichess has now.However,there should be added more conditions than just solving 20 puzzles,let's say...the user must have an IP adress that did not ever cheat on Lichess,and it must be the first account,not many ones.
The problem is not only in the tournaments, but also outside of it.
Very nasty indeed, but thank god Lichess is doing everything they can to keep the cheaters out.
i am not aware how points are funded to players i mean i lost to a guy tagged as cheater and then i get a message saying i was refunded with 2 points and i lost 15 points with him so i dont understandd
and if someone played with a person cheating once their account gets marked shouldnt all the rating that person took from others be refunded to the players who were playing against an engine ?
