Apparently each puzzle has a special URL so here's a new one I found... I don't think it's a very good puzzle.

That depends on the rating and how far the solution goes. (I didn’t check). The first capture with the N is fairly obvious since it’s loose. Then if it stops after Bxg6 it shouldn’t be highly rated. If it tries to slam you for the difference between Rh6 vs Rh8 then it’s not that good of a puzzle. And I’ve seen a bunch where which of two rooks captures shouldn’t matter much, but it’s totally wrong if you guess the wrong one.

@DollaHollaAtcha You are RIGHT key, process, screen loggers are the best but it is SECURITY RISK.

I think it is enough to force cheater to solve 20 puzzles + 5 unrated games - puzzles will teach him or not (he can cheat puzzles too). Whatever it will take a lot of time to come back to tournament.

After next cheat it can be 40 puzzles + 10 unrated games, next cheat 40/10. It take cheater time - it will not stop mad people but it enough for normal people to understand that we not want cheaters.

You can say "Instead of cheating you have 20 puzzles to solve to learn how to play and 5 unrated games to improve your skill".

That is my idea to punish little to make people thinking.

@Punmeister I think you puzzle rating is artificial so it it is very bad example. Why?

Extreme people not explain behavior of whole people population. It is wrong to focus on extreme anomalies if you solving problem.

Perfect or good solution of any problem can be NOT PERFECT - I mean that some problems is not solvable fully.

You are right the most of PEOPLE not read and vote down valid puzzles because they not understand puzzles. You will not change it since it is normal.

Keylock in door can be always get around, same with doors but it takes time to do it.

So if you cheat you can be punish with 20 puzzles to do and 5 unrated games - next times 40/10. It is not problem get around but it takes time.

You are RIGHT that what is determined it is easy to be get around.

@Punmeister I think it is impossible to make 3200 puzzle ranking since some puzzles is UNDETERMINED without Stockfish with knowledge exact solution (time of analysis). So to do 3200 you need to have two accounts :)

Of course it’s not impossible. Just look at my user profile- currently 3266.

Of course it’s not a “good” example. It’s supposed to prove that the system can be manipulated. Of course I cheated. My actual OTB strength is more like 2050-2100 classical.

I could start a new account and cheat at puzzles to get to at least 2400 rating in a matter of HOURS or at most a couple of days, using just one account.

@Punmeister being that the highest possible chess rating (tmk) is 3000; im baffled why puzzles would even go higher.

Side note; you dont even need to use a engine.
You can open a puzzle; and then open the game; and then use analysis to get the correct moves. Its a rather silly setup if you ask me; but nobody did and now look where we are.

I rather feel like puzzles shouldnt have a public rating; or really even a rating system at all :O
