Move Limit in Study Chapter?

As #1 said, there has to be "SOME cap".

For most players 1,000 moves is more than enough. #1 wants 9,000. Others used more than 20,000 nodes, before a cap was set.

The cap is now set, to 3,000. And it will stay as is.

I don't care about 9,000 specifically. Pigeonholing my post into "wants some exact, arbitrary number" just means you don't get it - or you're being disingenuous, both suck. What I want is enough latitude to do (serious) theoretical opening studies. Your site doesn't allow enough moves to do that in a reasonable or clean-looking manner. I guess that's just one more (utterly basic) feature that your site won't have, now - I say that assuming someone who wants to throw their weight around in such an embarrassing king-of-the-internet way is also the sort who can't change their mind even when they're plainly wrong. Like, did you wake up with a back ache when you wrote this?

Thibault is not "plainly wrong". There's a reason on why there are those limits. You have to understand that this is a public site and limits are set to prevent abuse from malicious users.
