More than once now, I've been playing a game on the mobile app (Android), and half way through the game I'm suddenly no longer able to make a move. I can chat, resign, etc. But touching the pieces on the board does nothing. The only thing I can do is resign, or watch the clock run down until timeout.
Has anyone else experienced this?

So how does one bring a pretty major bug to the attention of the lichess android app developers?

Have you tried it in the mobile browser?

No I haven't. How would that be relevant to this issue?

Happens to me too. Usually using the arrows (back one move then forward) fixes it but it's an annoying bug, expecially when you're running out of time.

@flared_nostril
It's relevant because the browser update to 2.0 was meant to replace the mobile app. So it's possible support for the mobile app is disappearing.
For me on an LG v20. It's better through the browser and I get almost full features to the site on it whereas on the mobile app I lacked at least half.

What?! Hope not, no way.
Latest update is buggy, but just fix it, far better than use the browser interface.

I don't know. All I know is I hated the mobile app. It didn't access the whole site. When 2.0 came out I never went back. Even uninstalled the trash heap of a program. The only problem I have with 2.0 is sometimes the browser thinks I am highlighting when I am moving. That is way better than what I got with the mobile app. But like I said.. It's possible. And if you haven't tried 2.0 And wonder why there might be lacking in development or support.. It could be that reason. You can try tagging a programmer though to see.

There was an update to the software that upgraded a lot of things. They called it "Lichess 2.0". There is a whole debate on it. You can literally search everything on it. Anyway, it added full support for mobile. The only people that don't like it are the old fuddy duddies that hate change. All you do is point your browser to the website on the phone and login.
