Minimum rated games feature

When I create a Rapid tournament where I want players to have at least 10 rated Rapid games to join, the requirement is set as "10 rated games" and it allows players who played 0 rated Rapid games join the tournament as long as they played at least 10 rated games of any category. Here is an example tournament: https://lichess.org/tournament/gVKgqRt5 It reads "10 rated games"

The official tournaments require "10 rated Rapid games". Here is an example: https://lichess.org/tournament/xpmbhW0v

How can I create tournaments that require "10 rated Rapid games"?

Thank you.

Thank you @Toadofsky. Is there any reason why that is the design choice?

I created a tournament for my school district where 61 students joined but almost all of them had 1500? Rapid rating, which meant the first pairing was pretty much random. The tie-breaking in the ranking in the subsequent rounds was also almost random too, because it depends on performance, which is based on ratings of the opponents.

Many kids ended up playing really hard games in their first couple rounds, and got very discouraged. These are K-8 students, btw.

Even though I asked them to play rapid games before they joined the tournament, I couldn't enforce it using lichess.

I was told to use minimum rating feature, which does not allow students with provisional ratings to join, which is a fine idea, but the minimum rating I can enter is 1000; some of these kids are rated lower than 1000, and I don't want to exclude them.

Thank you for your help.
