Hey guys, new to Lichess, I’m loving everything about it.
My career and background is in design and marketing. I have one suggestion I think will make Lichess the best for chess on phones/ tablets.
A pencil tool: when selected your touch inputs will act like right click button on a mouse.
Pressing on a piece: highlights it
Dragging from a piece: draws an arrow
Of course doing this should move pieces as priority, hence a pencil tool, when selected, the above mechanics activate.
I’ve created some visual examples of how this could look, all in this Google drive, free to view:

Since a new app is developed from scratch right now, it's probably best to go to the Lichess discord server and present your idea there, I sent it in the relevant channel.

Would also be very useful when working on studies, as currently you cannot annotate the board.
