Not really, except let us know once you get around to checking v16

Well, today I switched to SF16 7MB and it worked pretty well. Didn't do anything special except for the initial attempt (mentioned earlier in this discussion) that made SF14 work the other say. (Chrome on Android)

At least for me (Chrome on Android), when Stockfisch 16 stops, SF 14 also stops.

They both kept working well. The problem seems to be related to the existence of preloaded analysis (like when you request a server analysis or when you start from the initial position). Maybe the bug is a little simpler, like "hmm, there is already an analysis, so SF will not perform another one" but then this behavior extrapolates to parts of the game where a preloaded analysis doesn't exist (such as you trying different moves that are not in the original game or beyond the initial preloaded moves)

I have cleared the data (cache & cookies) as many have suggested but it does not work for me.

Also, there are a lot of suggestions about switching the engine, am I the only one who only has one option: "Stockfish 11 HCE"???

I have not been able to analyze any games for about a week.

@deprecor
If you're unable to upgrade to a modern browser, you're stuck with 11 HCE as the only option. Stockfish 14 & 16 both require relatively new versions of Firefox, Safari, or Chrome(s).

Does your browser have an incognito/private mode? What happens if you try to run analysis in that?

@schlawg Thank you so much! Updating the browser was enough to get the analysis back! (with all versions of the engine)

I had forgotten to update the browser for a very long time. Very much appreciated!

Lichess is experiencing network issues due to stale cache entries for files hosted in multiple regions by our content delivery network Cloudflare. As a result you might see local analysis report failure to load or simply spin and not function. To work around this, select the gear menu in the upper right of the analysis window and then choose "Stockfish 14 NNUE", "Stockfish 11 HCE", or "Stockfish 11 Multi-Variant" from the Engine dropdown. Then a simple page reload should get analysis working again.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this ongoing problem.
Has the issue been fixed? Which Stockfish should I use now? Or better stick with 14NNUE?

If you have a recent browser, you should be good to go for sf16
