A friend and I have been looking for a chess960 site, with a nice interface. We like the look of this site, but often don't have the time to finish a whole game in one sitting. We'd like to be able to
come back to a game, hours/days later. I can log in again, and view my unfinished game. The site remembers who was playing, but tells me that "[I'm] viewing this game as a spectator".
Is there a way to rejoin an unfinished game as a player?
This doesn't seem to be on the TODO list. I can't find a FAQ. I think I looked through the whole feedback list. Sorry if this has been asked before.

I dont mean to be rude but there is many correspondence and/or email chess websites that have those type of times per player. The only problem is that I dont know any cc websites with chess960.
Have a look here I quickly googled and glanced at this website
http://www.caissa.com/encyclopedia/chess960.php
Now I hate to discourage people away from this website so not sure if what I said is good :|
Perhaps Thib can answer you because he is the admin/creator of this website here.

Hey, this is definitely possible.
Just save your private url: the one in the url bar when you are playing. You can come back on this url weeks later to make a move.
Also you can rejoin your games through your user page, by clicking on a board.

Thank you Legend and Thibault, for the information :-) I shall pass the information to my friend.
We've been playing correspondence chess960 on the chessvariants site. http://play.chessvariants.org/pbm/play.php?game%3DFischer+Random+Chess We just find starting a new game to be a bit awkward. Also
its default piece appearance is a bit strange to our eyes.

It works :-)
I click on my username (on the bar at the top). This takes me to my user page. This page has a small board representation of the game. The mouse-over event floats a message saying "View in full size".
Clicking this takes me to the game, as a player. The game page says "The other player has left the game. You can force resignation, or wait for him." I shall send him the information :-)
For a while, I was clicking on the wrong view of the board. I was clicking on the spectator's view. I need to click on the small board, in my user page.
The information is much appreciated :-)
