Is it possible to have multiple games in one chapter in a study?

Hello,
I wanted to use a Lichess study to create an opening repertoire and i wanted insert game from another website in addition to my main game. This is actually possible if the game is listed in the Lichess Database but not when it comes from somewhere else. If is possible it would be nice if someone could explain to me how it works. Otherwise it would be nice if this could be added.

@PhilippeS You can put a link to the other website. Are you looking for something else?

  1. You can't have multiple games in one chapter of a study. Only one game in one chapter. But of course it is possible that this main game has a lot of side variations.
  2. Do you have a PGN file of the game from the other site ? If yes, then you can directly import this PGN file into your study when you create a new chapter in your study.

Yes, but I can actually have multiple games in one Chapter if they are from Lichess. Lets say I have my main game (which I can impor with Pgn) and I open the Lichess MasterDatabase . I can now see similar games to my main game and by clicking on these games I get the options "insert","view","cite"and"close". When I click on "insert" I do actually have two games instead one in my chapter (the second game is of course in a side variation but it is still there in one chapter). And it is the whole game: with players, moves ... etc. .Basically it is like importing a pgn in a side variation. But it seems so that this is only possible when I use the Lichess Database and cant be done by importing a pgn (which should have the same effect as this is what happens by clicking insert).

It is possible that you import games to Lichess. But this will not help you.
The problem seems to be that the opening explorer doesn't show these imported games.
The Opening explorer has only 2 options : Master and Lichess. Not more !
Sorry, I can't help.

Edit: And even if it were possible that you integrate your imported game into the database, i strongly doubt that the Opening explorer would show your game. The Opening explorer shows only 4 games which were recently played.

You are very close...
If I click one of the 4 games i get the option insert. By clicking on insert the game will be in a side variation in my chapter (in my chapter in the study, not in the Lichess Database!) In this way I can have multiple games in one chapter. Do you get that?

@PhilippeS It is not currently possible. I agree it would be a nice addition.
