I’ve recently noticed that my reports go unnoticed when a person who I suspect of cheating does so in unranked games. In the last two days I played two obvious cheaters, who had a 99% accuracy against me and something like a 23:1 win ratio per day. One of them has 1700 games, and he is still playing. I would’ve shared who these players are but it’s against Lichess policy.
I must point out that I only report players who I am confident are cheating, and I do it very rarely. What’s interesting is that when I report players who cheat in ranked matches, I always get the notification saying that they are indeed banned. Not the case with cheaters in unranked ones.
So my question is, is engine use allowed in unranked matches? If it’s not, why are these players not banned?
