Implement this new chess variant please : opposite-castle chess

There is a bug with stockfish. Try to castle in the analysis board with black you will see that you can never castle. Even tho you said you could.

I don't know where the difference in evaluation come from.

You don't force opposite side castles because you don't force to castle.

I can keep my king in the center I can walk it to the queenside.

It feels absolutely random to start with the king in the center but only allow castle in one direction.

There is no bug in Stockfish. If you click on my first link, play a few moves and you will find that Black can indeed castle. In the second link, Black has no castling rights. Perhaps you are unable to castle because you are moving the king two squares instead of moving it on top of the rook. The king does not move two squares when castling on either side. When castling queenside (really kingside from Black's perspective), it moves one square, and it moves three when castling on the other side. This is not how you described it in your variant, but like I said, you can't have a position that's exactly like your variant.

The difference in evaluation is because Black can castle in one position, and cannot in the other.

I wouldn't remove long castling since sams side castling would still be asymmetrical

In term of evaluation I do. In 90% of opening you have to castle to keep a playable position.

I can keep my king in the center I can walk it to the queenside.

You will lose then.

It feels absolutely random to start with the king in the center but only allow castle in one direction.

It's not random it's to make opposite castle the only sensible choice.

If you're saying it's random in term of "lore" then the castle rule itself is random or arbitrary.

You can see this new rule as territory assignement, your kingdom can only build castle on this side of the board. The field do not allow the construction of a castle on the other side. Mostly because of the space between your king and your rook.

Not asymetrical enough. I dont really care about assymetry it's mostly about space to attack and ability to move your pawn towards the ennemy king.

Opposite caste allow that.

Try it yourself you can't. There is a bug.
EDIT: you're right about this "on top of the rook" trick didnt know you could castle like thzt, if you move it on c8 it just goes on c8

But you're right in its analysis stockfish can castle he does a weird long castle move.

Of course this is not exactly what I want and maybe this weirdness (king on c8) lead to the inflated evaluation (+0.5).

If you do the opposite, move the white king on d1 and give him this weird castle on the queenside the evaluation go down to 0.4

I think it's okay.

There are many lines in the sizilian, the french or the Caro Kan where black does not castle.

Maybe learn to play the real game first.

Castling just as the double step of the pawn had been invented to make chess faster.

This "suggestion" doesnt add any value compared to Chess960
