How to hide this ugly icon next to my login name?

Recently an ugly and excessive icon (man in a circle) arrived to the screen right to the login name.
Is there a way (option) to remove it, freeing screen space from this dark garbage?

You probably can't remove it. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

But I see it as an improvement because an icon like that has become standard in recent years for functions relating to the logged in user. It makes the site clearer for people who are new here.

Use an extension like Stylus and add a CSS rule like this for lichess.org:

I don't mind the icon itself, I mind only the used picture, it is much darker (on the light theme) than everything else on screen and distract attention every second I play the game. Just an ugly dark spot or blot at the top right of the screen. Being it lighter or thin, I, most likely, wouldn't care.
