How do I un-follow closed accounts?

I can't seem to be able to do that. Closed accounts count toward my follower count, but I can't unfollow because "this account is closed". How do I un-follow closed accounts then?

Go to:

https://lichess.org/@/A_0123456/following

in case you are using a mobile device, switch to the desktop mode of your webbrowser.

After that you can unfollow everyone you don't like anymore

@A_0123456 Can you try to block them and unblock them instead? I tried to follow and unfollow your account using a link but that method doesn't work.

Just like bufferunderrun said, go to that link. Scroll down to the closed accounts you are following, there is a "following" button. just click that, and you should unfollow

@A_0123456 yeah, it doesn't show on mobile unless you flip your phone 90 degrees.

But it works on PC
