I pasted an image url from Imgur, and it just showed the link instead of the image. How to fix this?

No, it doesn't work.
If you install the LiChess Tools browser extension, you can just paste the image and it will turn it into the correct URL.

I notice that there's not only the imgur.com site for pasting image links into lichess, but also several others if I'm to believe this link: https://lichess.org/forum/off-topic-discussion/how-do-you-embed-images-into-lichess#5
I only used the imgur API in LiChess Tools.
