I don't know their true intentions, but it seems reasonable that they really did just want to save an account with a name they thought was fine. Still, despite the name having a witty chess-related meaning, it isn't hard to see why Lichess might object due to its plainer meaning.

And let the record show that snottynose & Pushwood backed up his goofy name!

Some zealot mod enjoyed his petty power of closing an account with a vaguely remotely offensive name.

This username seems more creative than offensive. Seems like the op closed their own account, a misunderstanding or maybe some mod misused their power. I think #28 is definitely possible. I mean you'd think they'd understand after reading this thread but maybe the OP closed their own account???
