Help / Manual using lichess ( browser + app)

Hi,
I am new to playing lichess, and a beginner in chess. Is there another help feature besides faq?
Sorry, if this exists and I just can‘t find it.
Thanks

The Learn > Chess basics might be good. At least, IMO it's better than the FAQ.

Its more about the app / browser.
If I want to play chess with someone over the net, but as a relative beginner, want to think a bit longer, what do I need to create?
A correspondence game?
How or where do I see if someone wants to play so that I can join?

I usually play with the browser, but I think you can create unlimited time games on both (I think those are all unrated though). If you want to play rated I'd recommend just setting a really long time control like 60 minutes + 60 s/move (they go all the way up to 180). If you click Lobby (top center) you can see existing games on the browser (IDK about phone and my battery died).

@PromoteMeToQueen, I sent you a challenge for a casual correspondence game with no time limit. If you can't accept it now, you can challenge me later if you want.
Good games!
