Are both apps wrong in their implementation or is there maybe in issue in the lichess API events?
It's not my intention to start games and then annoy the opponents waiting until game get's aborted – I just want to play chess using by DGT Pegasus board, and lichess is offering an API for this. Who needs to debug this, the lichess API developer or the app developer?

Hi, I'm using two iOS apps that connects to lichess using the lichess API. In both of the apps (WhitePawn and DGT Chess) I produce aborted games. I send a challenge, app is waiting for opponent, nothing happens... later on I see on lichess that there were games startet, but aborted then because I didn't move. Because my app simply missed the event, that the challenge was accepted and the game started. Are both apps wrong in their implementation or is there maybe in issue in the lichess API events? I'm also having this issue with the whitePawn app on IOS mobile with my ChessNut air board.

The Whitepawn app says it's still searching and doesn't notify you that it found a game which you apparently didn't make a move on and therefore aborted.

Would love a solution to this please?
