I have been using the android version of lichess, and suddenly the notification at the end of a game (something like "white checkmate, black is successful") does not show up anymore. How can I fix this, so I see the popup again at the end of a match.
I tried all the settings, uninstalled and re-installed the app without success. The game always ends without a popup showing what is going on.

If I’m right, you don’t get such notifications. (Or maybe only in Correspondence games?)
I was getting this popup message/notification always when a game ended (like a 3 min game or a 10 min game).
I do not know what "Correspondence games" are
I think the content of the popup/notification is something like e.g.
"Black time out. White is victorious"
I get that when I click on a list symbol in the lower left. But earlier (a week ago), that was shown automatically when a game ended.
I'm having the same issue, too. Happened within the last week
I have the app and played a game and I did not see it either. Now I play on the website and it works, try playing on the website.
This must be a bug with the latest app version, I noticed exactly the same thing a week or so ago too. It is slightly annoying, esp when the opponent leaves the game and you’re not notified.
