Agreed, Bullet is not a totally different game.
However, time controls like ⅛+0 etc (which are way faster than typical Bullet) *DO* make for a totally different game, i.e. not chess. And that's because the ratio of meaningful thinking (kind of the "iconic feature" of chess) vs fast mouse skills drastically drops. Unless you're Leela or AlphaZero, of course. :)
I agree the distinction is somewhat arbitrary, it's just how I feel about it...
I agree that being good in ultrabullet requires that you are fast with the mouse and mouse handling has nothing to do with chess. But on the other just being fast gets you absolutely nowhere, you would get mated immediately.

I think he’s seen this guys, we don’t need to @ thibault this many times. Everyone knows we want it. It’s fine to ask, or even beg, but stop @ thibault ing, he has other things he needs to see,don’t fill his thing up with just this forum.

And funnily enough, although I've written quite a lot in this thread, I think 15 seconds is fast enough time control for my taste.
If 1/8 becomes a time control, all that will change is crazy people wanting 1/16 time controls too!
