About halfway through a 10-minute game, my opponent seemed to stop playing and his time started ticking down to less than 10 seconds. Suddenly, my time went from 5 minutes to just a few seconds (all at once) and my opponent had about 5 minutes left. I lost on time. How can I fix it?

What happened is you got disconnected from lichess and did not notice or get told by your browser. Which made your opponents clock tick down to 0 and make it seem that you won but when you exit or reload the page or click to analyse you get reconnected and see that you lost because you never got your opponents move.
you can help it by refreshing every 30 seconds during your opponents turn.

Hi , I just experienced a really strange game. My oponents clocl was ticking down to under 1 minute when all of a sudden his clock jumped up 30 seconds and it repeated the behaviour several times. In addition to the above the system didnt allow mw to move away my queen and on another occasion i couldnt make the move i wanted. Nope i was NOT in check or anything. This issues sucks.
@Janne68 can you show the game in question but also please try what was stated above it sounds like a disconnection issue
