Anyone else have the dark mode toggle button show up only before logging in the website? Same problem for both Chrome and Edge.

You can turn it off/on by clicking on -USERNAME->Background>Light/Dark

That isn't a problem for me, for when playing, I use a mobile.

Oh I meant that there was a toggle button near the board that disappeared (after login). Should have looked better in the menu haha, thanks.

When you are not logged in to lichess, by default your theme would be dark. In that (anonymous) mode, if you make the theme light forcefully, then it will change the dark theme temporarily, i.e. when you re-open lichess in Anonymous mode, it will become black or dark again.
But...when you are logged in to lichess, the theme is of your choice and it's permanent in that account untill you change it.
