Could it be possible to let an option to choose Engine level in the "Practice with Computer" mode ?

After loosing a game in the endgame I tried to play it again with the same position against the engine with the "Practice with Computer" mode. However, after a few moves the engine made an horrible blunder which made the position an easy win for me and thus a bad practice. The position was " 8/8/2b2R2/1k1p4/2Q5/8/5PK1/8 b - - 0 54 " and after the Engine blunder it becomes "8/8/2b2R2/k2p4/2Q5/8/5PK1/8 w - - 1 55 ".

Is it possible to add a way to choose the desired Engine level to practice against in the "Practice with Computer" mode ? It could either be in the Preferences or better, in game interface, so that we can change it during the Practice with Computer. I think it would be neat.

I think we aren't talking about the same thing. After playing a game against human, in the analysis board and selecting "Practice with Computer" there is no way to choose computer level (I am talking on computer). It is in fact possible to export the game and then import it to play against computer but this is a clunky solution which doesn't take into account the fact that a "practice against computer" mode already exist.

Edit : To make it extra clear I am NOT talking about the " Play with computer " which is totally different.

You can play vs. engine from position. #2 is right.

It seems you didn't understood my request. I am asking to add the possibility, inside the analysis board (on computer and not on mobile) to select Stockfish level after clicking "practice against computer". But maybe I am just dumb but I currently cannot find it. Can you show me where it is ? Thanks.

Thank you for your reply and the time that you took to take the picture. That's nice of you. Unfortunately that was not my question. Everyone seems to think I am trying to play against the Engine because they think that "Practice with computer" means playing against computer. What I want it to an option to choose the ENGINE LEVEL when I am inside the ANALYSIS BOARD and I click the little button down on the left that say PRACTICE WITH COMPUTER.

You are the third person who misunderstood my question so I guess I should apologize for not being as clear as possible but I don't know how to make it more clear that I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PLAYING A GAME AGAINST THE ENGINE.

@DeuxMillesEloShower Ah ok, I understand now. So you want to play against Stockfish in a analysis board and also choose the level? Unfortunately that is not possible. But there is a way to play against the engine and choose the level too from a particular position.

You have to click that icon and then choose "Continue from here" and then select "Play with the engine" after that you can choose the level.

I know it can be done this way but its not very clean as you have to create a new game which clutter your game history. It also makes the button "Practice against computer " kind of unnecessary. I have found no information about what is the engine level in the "Practice against computer " mode and it would be cool to add a way to know it and change it on demand.

I would like to finish by saying that it's not really a problem, just a small suggestion to make lichess better (for me at least lol).

@DeuxMillesEloShower You could also go to the board editor and set up the position, then play with computer from there
