Hello,
I'm developing my own connected chess board (similar to a DGT one). I have understand that I need a bot accound and can't use my personal account for that. But I like use it for play under real person on my physical board. And with a bot account I have see how challenge a person or accept a challenge. But it seems that it is not possible to create a game for no body in particular or have access to the list of games proposed by others people and accept one.
Is-it really only possible to do challenge with a connected board? How can I proceed if I want play with someone between 1700-1900 elo in 15/15 timing ?

Bots can only do challenges, because most players wouldn't want to play bot accounts when they're looking for a random game.

Yes I can understand that. So the actual status is:
if you want use a physical board you must use a bot account.
If you use a boat account it is hard to find real player for playing.
So it is hard to find player if you use a connected board on lichess.
I think I will be mandatory to plug my board on another chess server :-(
I think a nice evolution will be to make separate accounts for bot and connected board accounts. Because I think most players wouldn't want to play bot accounts but are agree to play real player with a physical connected board.

"I think a nice evolution will be to make separate accounts for bot and connected board accounts."
How would you differentiate between the two? The board would input moves the same way a bot would.

You choose "bot" or "connected board" at account creation time.
Or at least allow use the bot/private api with standard account for classical game duration. Because the only reason for that bot api is not allow is for avoid cheating. But any way if someone want cheat in a classical duration there is no way to avoid it (the long time allow run same game on another device computer).

Why dont you go via the keyboard input? simply receive your opponents move via the api, while inputing via the keyboard. As long as your notation is valid it should be fairly straight forward

chessboarduino : http://fredjust.net/chessboard/

Hello Timikofski. Why not but i think it is not allowed. And there ils a risk anti cheater systeme detect something ans block my account.
