Confused about playing computer from position

Hello,

I'm a bit confused about playing from a position with the computer.

I want to test an opening with White, with the last move of the opening being played by White.

So I'm creating a game, clicking on the position editor, put 3 white moves and 2 black moves, hoping to have the computer play next move with Black. I select "Trait au noir" (Black to move) in the position editor, then click "Continuer depuis cette position" (Continue from this position), "Jouer contre l'ordinateur" (Play against computer), then click on the "White" icon meaning I want to play white. But then it's my turn, which is not what I want.

How should I do to get what I want? Sorry for probably missing the obvious here...

Now let's see that mate in one captcha.... (I love those, I always get them!)

I tested and have this bug too.

Please give us the problematic position which you tried.

Please give us the problematic position which you tried.

I could be wrong, but it looks like the "Continue from here" option is changing spaces in the FEN to underscores and that doesn't seem to be read correctly. Example:

I make a few moves in Board Editor and it updates the copyable
FEN at the bottom of the page:
rnbqkbnr/pppp1ppp/8/4p3/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR w KQkq -

I change it from White to play to Black to play and the "w" becomes "b" as expected:
rnbqkbnr/pppp1ppp/8/4p3/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR b KQkq -

But when I select "Continue from here" with the machine, the field in the top box reads:
rnbqkbnr/pppp1ppp/8/4p3/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR_b_KQkq_-

Notice it replaced the spaces with underscores. Because of that, it gets the position correct but defaults to "White to move". If I manually edit the "Continue from here" position to replace the underscores with spaces:
rnbqkbnr/pppp1ppp/8/4p3/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR b KQkq -

Then the computer makes the first move as black.

I would like to add that the whole dialog flow is confusing in this case.

I Create a game, select Play with the machine, click on Board editor icon.

When in the Board editor, I would expect to set every aspects of the position and then click "OK" which would send me back to the previous dialog. In other words Board editor is a sub-dialog, logically speaking, of the previous one.

There is no "OK" button, the closest match being "Continue from here" (which is strange because we already know that the idea is to play from position from the previous dialog, that's why we came here, and there's no need to remind us). But if you click this, it asks you to choose between Play with the machine, and Play with a friend. However we already selected to Play with the machine before...

Also when choosing Play with the machine, and coming back to initial dialog, I am still asked to choose whether I want to play Black, White or Any. But then what was the point of flipping the board in the position editor?

Finally the "Castle" options are unclear. I understand that something needs to be set about castling (mostly whether the castling is still possible as the pieces haven't moved) but the options are unclear to me. Maybe using the title "Castles allowed" would be more clear.

It seems the Position editor is also used in other contexts, hence the problems. Maybe it can be "parametrized" to behave like a sub-dialog to the Play with the machine dialog?
