Chat isn't working properly on mobile app

Yes, when I send a message on chat, it doesn't reach destination and doesn't show on my screen either, I guess this is some kind of bug, wanted lichess to be aware of it, if they aren't already.
Incidentally the direct messages work fine. :).

I checked on Lichess appeal to see if I'm chat banned (on the in game chat) , but it says my status is fine and I'm good to go, please can a moderator tell me if I am in fact banned on in game chat, and if I'm not, what I can do to fix this issue.

Same issue here. On my sister's too. Works fine on the PC, so I know I'm not chat blocked or anything like that.

I cannot send chats through the app, but if I use the website, it's fine, and then I'll see the sent message in the app. Glad it's not just me.

Same problem here. Using Android. The issue started about a week ago, and previously worked just fine.

I downloaded the old app (last updated in 2022) and the in-game chat works. So the issue is only in the "new" app.
