Changes in my private studies are always stored ..

.. even though I do not press the "save study" resp. "save chapter" button.
Needless to say that this is a bit annoying if you only want to play with your existing studies.
This unwanted behaviour also persists if you log out / log in again.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Log in to lichess
  • Make a change to a private study, do n o t press any save button
  • Log out from lichess
  • Close the web browser
  • Open the web browser, delete all cookies and the browse history
  • Log in to lichess ==> the study change still exists

My environment:
OS: Linux Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
Browser: Brave Version 1.50.121

In the study, right below the chessboard and to the left, it says "REC" with a green check mark next to it. If you un-check it, whatever changes you make in that session will not be saved.

Thanks, this helped.
