For a couple of days now I cannot play any games in the lichess app on my IPad mini. Seems to have occurred after the latest IOS update on this iPad mini, but I’m not absolutely sure about this. If I want to have a game in a standard time control over the Quick pairing, the „wait for opponent“ info just buffers endlessly, but no matter how long I wait I won’t get a game. If I try to create a game manually (with a custom time control) it seems that I get a game (board appears, opponent seems to be there), but if I’m white i can’t make a move and if I’m black, my opponent‘s move appears but I cannot respond and time runs out. Same thing happens when I try to play against the computer. I still can play games normally in the app on my iPhone and also in the browser on the lichess website on my IPad, just not in the app on my iPad. Does anyone have the same problem? Can anybody help please? Thanks a lot.

Same. You also cannot search for the variants, nor choose to play any! They don't have a lobby either.
For the record, I think we should play on the website more, than the app.
Yes This happened to me too! It was annoying that I deleted the app and played on the website1
