Bug: No Sound Until First Move

About 3 days ago I noticed that when I start a game there isn't the start sound until I or my opponent makes a move. At first, I thought this might be a problem with my browser or computer (I use Firefox and Windows 10), but I tried clearing my cache but there still is no sound. I also tried using a different device, the sound in the game was fixed but when I use the analysis board there won't be any sounds until I open stockfish. This doesn't bother me a lot, but I'm curious if others have the same problem.

Is autoplay for audio enabled in site settings for lichess.org/?

support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay#w_site-settings
Yes, for both devices

I'm on firefox too and I'm having the same issue. There is no bell to alert me of a game until someone moves a piece. I checked the autoplay settings but it doesn't seem to apply.

Is there anything about audiocontext in the javascript console? asset loading errors?

Yep...I noticed this change as well. I mostly use firefox on a win 10 laptop.

Yeah I just wanted to report the same issue but then found that Orciety was faster.

The same thing is happening to me. No sound until I play my first move. Began a few days ago. Firefox, Desktop, Windows 10.

It's already selected for "Allow Audio and Video" for me. However, I did another test and the bell chimes when a pairing is found as expected. I feel like something was fixed behind the scenes, because I didn't change any settings and now it's working again.
