Bug in chess clock in Android app...counting down moves incorrect

Hi. I have the latest Android app installed. There is a free chess clock included. It is a great feature for otb play. In a time control like 40 moves/90 min, G30 I have picked up a bug on the clock. When one plays the first time stage the clock keeps track of how many moves of the 40 in the first stage are left. However I have found a bug, the clock is counting down the moves incorrectly. When the game starts both time rectangles show "40" at the bottom corner. To start a game black must of course tap his square so that white's clock begins. He does this, white's clock starts and the move indicator shows "40" on both sides. All fine so far. Now white makes his move and taps his time rectangle, which stops his clock, changes his move indicator to 39 and starts Black's clock. Now for the bug/problem. The move indicator also shows "39" on Black's clock!. It should only show 39 when black taps his clock rectangle after making move 40 (the first move in the game for him too!) and not before he taps his clock rectangle! So currently when Black taps his clock rectangle it changes to 38...which is completely wrong! It should be "39". If this move count down functionality can be corrected please. Thanks

I think the chess clock is just implemented in a wrong way: If you assume that white is the one who starts the clock after making its first move, the lichess clock counts correctly. But I think in reality it is black who starts the clock, otherwise white would not lose any time on its first move while black does.

Hi. Yes it is implemented wrong. I guess that would be a better word to use! It is probably easy enough to fix. Who does one let know about this?
