Artificial increase of views amount.

Not very big disadvantage, but there is a possibility to sharply increase the amount of views of some topic on Lichess by clicking on it many times, or by using auto-clicker. So you can get thousand of views in few minutes (depends on CPU capacity).

Even works when you're logged off too, so the view counter considers every visitor to the forums.

Yeah, we're aware, people have done it before.

Forum is a bit immature. It requires many improvements. The most important I think is an ability to edit own posts. :)

Even better would be the ability to check how many times your own profile page has been frequented by other members, like back at Chess.com! :D

Makes you feel appreciated, you know.

rise_UIED, yes, I also thought about that.
Also some ideas:

  1. scrolling forum (all commentaries on one page, unclosing with scrolling). Not very necessary, but in the social networks it is such.
  2. Possibility to edit messages. But if they are answered, you can only supplement them. And the time of editing possibility is also limited.
  3. More branches. With structure.
