It happens when I am running through variations it will sporadically fail to load the engine. If I go back a move the engine will load fine, and if I play a different move it may load fine, but if I attempt to play the same move it will again try to load and fail.
If I refresh the Analysis Board and play through the variation it will be fine up to and beyond the move I initially wanted to play. So it seems to be a bug that when the engine fails to load, it will never load for a certain move until you refresh.

What OS and browser are you using? Is there anything in the console when the engine fails to load?

I am not sure what you mean by console, but Zinkbav's screenshot shows what I mean.
I am using Chrome on Windows 10.
In the browser, press F12 . you will see console menu.
Oh man it's happening SO MUCH today. So frustrating!!!!!!
I find that reloading the page fixes this, so I would just copy the PGN in the box below and then paste it into the reloaded analysis board, and then "import PGN" and it works fine..
Yes the PGN is a good solution. Although it's a bit annoying cause then you cant play back the moves, so not very good when you want to go back to a pre-existing position. I usually have to mess about with two windows to get around this.
