Android: How can I choose side for a offline game from Board Editor?

How can I choose side or variant if I start a offline computer game from Board Editor or Analysis Board on Android?

You should post this in community/Questions & Answers.

Anyway for offline game, if you want to play as black, just rotate your device, this works on my tablet.

There are also 2 options to enhance the board.

  1. Flip pieces after move
  2. Use symmetric pieces.

For variant selection

  1. Menu
  2. Over the board
  3. Press the icon with cross swords
  4. Then Select which variant you want, from the variant drop down menu of "Over the board" dialog box

@duropo
No, that is not what I was asking. What you are saying is "Over the board" in which I can control both sides. What I was asking is to play with "computer AI" offline from Board Editor or Analysis Board. Flipping the board does not matter at all if you are assigned white or Black.

You should understand my question first then you will know this question does not belong to "Questions & Answer" since you have no way to do it right now.

You just don't understand it, do you? Go back to the question. The question is not how to play with offline AI, but to choose side from a board editor against AI. Can you make sure every time you play white against a computer from a board editor? This is very useful to practice like end games.

That 5. Select side should be 5.1 Select side

@duropo
Dude, have you even tried this yourself???

Please change the board editor several pieces. And follow your own instruction. Then you will see the second time you click that sword to battle, you start from the initial position, not the position you set in the board editor.

First, try it yourself then answer. Second, stop pretending you know how it works.

This is your question.
" How can I choose side for a offline game from Board Editor?"

That question can be answered by my post in post #7.

Do you have other questions?
