As subject says it all, I updated the Lichess app on my Android device and this is happening since then. Kindly look into it.

This apparent bug, is really annoying.
I was just about to post a new topic on this, but saw people already getting this problem in their apps. Specifically it's in version 6.0.2 developed by GitHub user veloce. I got that update around an hour back, and have been seeing this problem since then.
When I close the android app and re-open it I have to sign in again.

Per the GitHub link and the workaround provided by the developer, I uninstalled and reinstalled my Android Lichess app. And the problem seems to be gone.
OnePlus 5, Android 8.1.0.
