But you are really an potential hack target. Gentleman in the following link blames amazon and apple and correctly so. But if he had two factor authentication of his iCloud and GMail his twitter account would still be his and all of his family photos would not have been deleted.

Please not all the damage received because someone wanted to take the twitter account because in hacker own words
"He said the hack was simply a grab for my three-character Twitter handle. That’s all they wanted. "
All real damage was just he because he could.
You have an title that is enough to mount an attack by someone weird enough. At minimum protect you e-mail if you are not willing to do it on your lichess account.

If you let your web browser save the session/cookies for Lichess site then you only need to fill in TOTP code once in a lifetime, until that day that you are going to switch to a new or different computer or do a fresh OS installation and so on.
In other words it's not a big hassle.
