Y learn e4 first? When can i switch? ... I hate e4 lol

I have been playing chess online for a few months now. Mostly on chess.com, but i'm finding lichess more enjoyable for some reason lol. My question is everyone says to learn e4 first when you start studying openings. Whether it's the Italian game, Ruy Lopez or something along those lines. I also see a lot of post that if you don't learn e4 first you will be mediocre player or your not helping yourself by playing d4, c4 or Nf3.

Ive been playing e4 for the last 2 months to get familiar with tactical chess, but i hate it! I am not a fan of any of the openings for e4 and i am wondering when is it enough so i can move on to say c4? Also when can i stop playing classical defenses? I know they are timeless and very good to know but i don't enjoy 1 e4, e5 or 1 d4, d5 and i really do like the hypermodern openings like the Leningrad Dutch and Alekhine Defense.

Basically would it hurt my chess to switch now? I Understand my rating isn't very high and my opponents usually only know the first few moves of the opening or they just get lucky with book moves without any knowledge of them, but still I've skimmed through the books on the Ruy Lopez, exchange, main line and closed - Everyman Chess and Queen's Gambit Declined also Everyman Chess. I haven't read very much into the Italian but I've read enough to understand the Giuoco Piano, Two Knights, Four Knights, Fried Liver attack and a range of gambits none of which i care for. This is not to talk trash to e4 players lol. I have a lot of respect for people that learn a whole repitoire for e4 i just feel like e4 isn't my thing. I like slow games but not giuoco piano pianissimo slow lol

Play whatever you want to play. The opening hardly matters at all at your level.
Honestly, I have learned more from closed and semi closed games from open ones. I have learned positional factors much more when playing d4 c4 or Nf3. I'd say play opening that suits your style. If you don't enjoy attacking chess, play openings that require positional play (d4 c4 or Nf3).
lol. Sorry, I should be more precise. I am gonna be paying for private lessons here hopefully starting end of august maybe September. All my money is currently tied up in my body shop. I moved locations, and the city wants money, the inspectors a douche, the Fire Marshall is picky and my General Contractor isn't cheap. Also, my partner and I are seriously considering investing in an event center so we can host things like chess tournaments and boxing matches. If i get an event center though i would rather be closer to 2000 so i can hold my own in my own building lol.

If i switch to what i want to play now will my future coach prefer to switch me back to e4?
You really shouldn't be focusing on the opening much at all.
i've heard that before but when I play 1 e4 i'd say 70% of the time it goes 1..., e5 2 Nf3, Nc6. Its kind hard to not recognize an obvious pattern and wanting to know how best to deal with it.
If you learn how to play chess you will figure out what to do in any opening, and any positions. Openings are a waste of time at your level.
Yeah I wouldn't really care about studying openings at your level
lol thanks for your response, or back handed comment whichever it is. ill just get a coach and pay him to tell me that i guess... Hopefully in less vague terminology other then you suck at chess learn chess lol
