Why can't I post without playing?

I like to be a part of the forum, but I have no intention on playing, especially internet chess. I would however, like to help others and share what I learned with the rest of you.

The reason I don't play is because it's not fun at all and you never know who you are playing against...also not being able to move pieces by hand is frustrating as I already lost a game due to mouseslip.

Also, chess.com while not requireing to play games to post is full of kids not really interested in chess.
