@minitoon_boi that equals a 1300 rating, congratulations

Thanks ! Good luck on your road to 2000+ otb. I took me a lot of work and patience to get there years ago.

I never did in chess variants or real chess, but if you count puzzles, then my rating is 2303.
@Riko2020_chess
provisional rating counts nothing
puzzle rating counts nothing
you can imagine how much a provisional puzzle rating would count

@xPhilosophusx
I agree that puzzle rating on Lichess possibly does not always reflect chess skills very well, but I like to add that since the launch of V2 tactic puzzles, everyone got a provisional puzzle rating. So if you had done > 10k puzzles (one of my friends has) then you will have the ? mark there after such hard work ;)

@achja thx didn't know that would make it provisional. Mine isn't provisional, because I kept solving puzzles. I had close to 2400 before V2, but I am glad they changed the point system. It's much better now.
A lot of savants on here i guess, as it has taken me over two years to get to 1700 ish.
perhaps 'SOME' players who claim to have reached 1800 in three months etc probably played chess before they actually joined Lichess, so maybe not all these guys went from 1500? to 1800 in three months from actual scratch.
gives beginners unrealistic expectations when they read these three months to 1800 claims, at least say you played before joining Lichess.
And yes maybe im a slower learner at Chess, but i doubt most people who take up Chess will reach an online rating of 1800 in three months to six months from scratch.
Otherwise Magnus and Hikaru had best retire before these guys reach 3500 online rated by next year and blow everyone off the board.

@Mrchess78 agreed. As I said in my post as well it took me some years to reach my rating. Sometimes also doing nothing for a while should be counted as a part of the learning process bcs the brain can think about all the new knowledge and manifest it.
