What's your favorite way to punish arrogant players?

> You do this crap at your own peril (and you can certainly stalemate someone without any queens). I was watching one of Hanging Pawns's videos recently. He was pissed that an opponent wasn't resigning in a position that was K+Q+2 or 3 pawns vs K. I remember it well - he says "well, he's not resigning so I'm going to make 3 queens. I don't care, I won't stalemate him." Then 2 moves later...stalemate. I definitely laughed out loud when I saw that. Was it worth it...

Talk about the irony...
I often no matter what opponent just play for a flag cause it feels better ^^

People who refuse to resign against 8 rooks should be the one who should not play in person. They think their opponents are too stupid to checkmate them even with lots of material advantage. That is insulting to even a retarded people. That's okay since it doesn't break any rules.

I live in a third world and played 100% OTB chess when I was in school because I didn't have internet connection back then. I know all the tricks to make OTB games void like the "(Yawn) Hoooaamm.. I'm so sleepy (proceeds to fall asleep on the chess board to make the pieces scramble)" or the classic "accidentally" kicked the table that causes the pieces to fall and then sneak in a captured queen to the board. I have played a lot of dirty chess games and to think that I would not do as simple as "making art" in a perfectly fair chess is... just lame.

It’s a person’s right to decide whether they want to resign early in a game, or to play until checkmate. Obviously, fighting against 8 rooms with a lone king is going to be very difficult, but just because they don’t resign in a hopeless position, it doesn’t make them a “stupid” person.

Honestly, if my opponent promoted eight rooks instead of simply checkmating me with one or two, I would play on just for the fun of watching them desperately trying to avoid a stalemate.

Sorry, I meant “rooks” instead of “rooms”.
