What's a good mouse for speed chess?

yes exactly, Playing bullet games requires a mouse for a better performance :)

Any decent mouse will work okay, I met an IM who played 1 min games with the touchpad of his laptop and he was really good and crushed a lot of people. He was just too cheap.

I think a mouse should have smooth responsive motion.
It most glide well and be comfortable in our hand.

Under my mouse it is not a ball, it has an optical light.
So it glides well and does not need a mouse pad.

My arm and wrist does not move when I use my mouse. It's basically my fingers that are moving the mouse. You should be able to customize the acceleration and sensitivity of a mouse to do the same. I can move my mouse from one corner of the screen to the opposite side of the screen without moving my wrist or arm. If you can do that, it should be fast enough.
