Hello! I need some help. I have started a chess blog. I want to ask some people what content the chess audience likes. Do they like tips on improving at chess, analyzing games, online events coverage, or knowing stories of top players. If you want to give me some ideas, please revert. Looking forward to your suggestions.

I think more human interest stories. There are plenty of sites that deal with how to improve or how to analyze. I think people enjoy hearing the human side of the equation and less about the analytic side of chess since that has been overly covered.

#2 thanks for your advice. What topics on the analytical side of chess can I cover? I love the analytical side too. I want at least one person from each range(rapid or classical only)(below 900,900-1000.1000-1100,1100-1200,1200-1300,1300-1400,1400-1500,1500-1600,1600-1700,1800-1900, 1900-2000) who can give me suggestions. In return, I will analyze their games and help them improve. (My rapid rating is 2200 on another account on lichess) Please help me.

They like baka mitai videos of 100 rated players blundering their queens and then somehow winning its a trend actually it has been proven to have been improving people rated 99-100 rated players by about 1 to 2 points this study was conducted by the organization of subtomrbeast's forum post

The problem with covering the analytic side is that it has been done by several others. For example, there is a chess coach who shows the kind of mistakes make by players at the amateur level and then explains why the moves are bad ideas. Here is an example of just one of his videos:

This is why I prefer human side of chess since this is not covered as much as the analytic side is.

I’d be more interested in reading interviews of regular players on Lichess about their journeys with chess and how they’ve learned the game over time and if they have goals and ambitions and what steps they are taking to reach them, maybe with some favorite games they played so far with analysis.

I like SuperGms beating Gms and Ims while commentating and explaining their thought process behind every move .

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just want to clarify that I am not making videos(videos are highly competitive). I have started a blog. I will write web pages. So please suggest ideas that are easy to implement as a webpage.

Better yet, why not come up with the ideas yourself?! It's your blog, after all...
