Time managment in classical

For some games I take way too long in classical, what do I do?
Move faster.

Playing chess successfully is dominated by pragmatism.
@JushBJJ2 that's a good indication that you need to work on your positional and tactical awareness. You need to be able to sense when there is nothing to calculate in a position, so you can make those moves quickly and save the time for when the position is critical and you really need it.
@JushBJJ2 there are a bunch of things you can do, but the most practical thing I think is to really work on tactics puzzles with serious emphasis placed on accuracy - don't worry if you are on one for 15, 20 minutes. You need to develop an efficient thought process for evaluating the position, selecting candidate moves, and calculating.

I'd also recommend really solidifying your knowledge of tactical motifs, e.g. pins, skewers, etc. Part of improving your tactical awareness is to be able to instantly spot in your real-time games when the tactical motifs are applicable or can be applied. Doing so will help you determine and identify weaknesses and undefended pieces in your opponent's camp - but it will also allow you to leverage tactics to weaken your opponent's pieces (for example, if an opponent's pawn has one defender, and you pin that defender to the opponent's king, that pawn is now undefended and can be snatched up).

What time control are you talking 30-0 for classical?
What are you spending all that time thinking about?

Are you going through different lines in your head, are you trying to come up with a plan. Time pressure can be a real deal in chess, and handling how you divide your time can be difficult. The more knowledge you have the better you can make the correct judgement of the position. But give more detail than 'I take way too long', if you can.
