Here you can post your longest chess game. It would be nice to see the longest chess games played on Lichess.
When you play 300 moves it's a draw, that's the longest possible game.
#1 I don't play correspondence chess. But pretty sure that's where you will find the longest games regarding time ;)
Lichess doesn't allow more than 300 moves.
(Which I saw in a link earlier today) so if you reach 300 moves, then it is a automatical draw.

i just tested, it's a automatic draw after black 300th move, so if white 300th is checkmate it's not a draw :-) .
I think there are games in the database with more than 300 moves that were played before this 300 move rule was activated. Anyway Lichess has a limitation: it doesn't remember game moves after the 300th.

But how do you made it? There is no pawn push so after 50 move it must be draw.
300 moves is a drawn now. Before this limit, I think Lance5500 did between 2200 and 2500 moves, I don’t remember
So, if you Play Magnus then you only need to manage not to get mate in 300 moves. Another chance not to loose against Magnus - not less realistic then my other optionss ;-)
The longest chess game ever is kinda like the longest drum solo ever.
