Life Taught Me Chess.
And
Chess Taught Me Life.
And
Chess Taught Me Life.
My uncle taught me the basics. But i never got really interested and never got beyond novice.
But when i was at secundaria (jr high i suppose its the equivalent, around 12 years old), The school tournaments were approaching, i qualified for the team, i was the less useless of everyone lol, and i could skip the last 2 hours of class to practice for 2 weeks before the tournaments.
I did it for 3 years, just to skip class. At high school is when i really got into it.
