#10 Agreed, playing games with increment removes this problem (almost) entirely.
@Tangelo777 The strongest players do not play this sort of weakish play aiming to flag so I'm not really sure what your point is.
@DunnoItAll OP's post to me does not seem to be complaining in any way about the games being decided by time. It seems to me that he's trying to give advice and I also think it would be advice well heeded for the reasons mentioned.
Botvinnik never played blitz.
@OhNoMyPants According to en.lichess.org/player
Notice that more titled players are in bullet and blitz than classical
en.lichess.org/player/top/200/bullet
en.lichess.org/player/top/200/blitz
en.lichess.org/player/top/200/classical
By titled players I mean only players with GM title. The reason is that GM titled players easily beat all the players with other titles. The LM titled players lose the fastest!

@Tangelo777 Maybe all the strongest players have a habit of Smoking? Maybe we should then try to smoke?
#13 I'll look into expanding Lichess Insights to prove my point (that games played without increment have significantly greater CP loss than games played with increment).
"Stop playing for the time!"
-> If you lose on time that's because you badly manage your time ! Don't blame your opponent for your weakness ! That's 100% your fault ! Improve yourself !

@Tangelo777 #9 strong players play bullet
a) for fun
b) to test openings
c) because they dont want get cheated.
Bullet is garbage for training any other chess skill.

@Tangelo777 You're being borderline incoherent here. GMs again do not play in the fashion being advocated against in this thread. So once again I'm really confused about what your point is or if you have one.
