2300 FM
2400 IM
2500 GM
2600 maybe IGM? (international grandmaster)
2700 maybe SGM? (super grandmaster)
A 2200 and 2400 would never be called the same, so why would a 2500 and 2800 be both called by the same title?
p.s. This post is only for debate, I'm not suggesting or criticizing, and I might not be aware of certain aspects of the matter. So feel free to share your thoughts.
2500 is just a normal grandmaster 2700 becomes super grandmaster 2800 is called an expert grandmaster
They should add an "Ultra-grandmaster" title, in-my-opinion.

IMO there is no point in giving titles to 2800 players. Apart from Carlsen or a couple of other players. 2800s quickly plummet back to the 2700 range when they're not at their best form. There are only a few 2800s in each era.
