Anyone click on 'Report' recently and get taken aback at all the options for scummy behaviour. Are these things really THAT common? Like man...kinda has me dreading the future.

Some are stupid fillers (like "suicide") but others are useful. Too bad you can't use them for reporting posts

I don't think alerting Lichess to a user , that you are worried about their mental state is just a stupid filler , it could save a person's life and is a welcome addition , imo ,as chess is a mentally brutal game. I think it's great Lichess are starting to think of users mental health too ,(and can help people they are worried about by guiding them to professional help) ,well done Lichess xxx

I mean if you think there might be too many categories it’s not a real problem
In this situation having too much is way better than having not enough

If you report a post, with a one word complaint , such as troll, harassment, or threat , I'm pretty sure that the moderators could possibly work it out for themselves!!

I appreciate the degree of precision and the care taken in clarifying each case. I think this is encouraging, and as Simon says, it shows that Lichess wants to take care of players mental health

What's the point of this particular thing though? It means to address disturbing content, but how often does it ever happen? I think it's almost more likely to misclick this than to actually properly use this reason. Just explaining why I called it "stupid".
Also some of the extended reasons should be in the forum triangle since they are about communications. It's way more tedious to go to the user profile and paste links to posts.

If there was an exasperated emoji you'd be getting right now.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young men in Britain anyhow , I suppose it doesn't happen in your world and is much like cheating , doesn't happen ,and the countless mental health sufferers you have called paranoid about it .
