Questions for any 2017 Sinquefield cup participants?

@tpr, Kasparov already answered that question: "1. d4 is more substantial ("richer") than 1. e4."

(I myself play both open and closed games and I agree.)

I'm still a little bit on the fence.

@Sarg0n :Id not see wh is1.d4 richer,cause i think there is more chnaces of drawing,cause it is closed.
But of course,i am just 14,ans jus 1540 FIDE RATED

@the_loving_boy, Yeah, but actually, at the highest level, there are many theoretically drawish black openings against e4, like the Berlin, the Marshall, or even the Petrov...

since when is the Petrov drawish?

Cause i do it like that:
e4 e5 Nf3 Nf6 Nxe5 d6 Nxe5 Nc3 Nxc3
and then Black does 0-0
and i do 0-0-0
never got a draw
I just use 1d4 againt 1900 layers,than i always draw:)
