Queens gambit netflix series?

So far so good. Watched most of part 1.
oh yeah, that thing i read the book and started the audiobook but havn't watched the netflix series, personelly i enjoy a good book rather than good tv but its got a good story behind it either way
Cool, thanks folks. I just saw tonight it was on, but I skipped over it because I was skeptical. I didn't really think they'd make anything seriously about chess. But I'll take a look now.
Maybe we can see some familiar faces. There was a casting for background artists in Berlin some years ago. They were searching 500 chessplayers.
What is your best chess movie? Personnaly, i like "Pawn sacrifice" about Bobby Fischer and "La diagonale du fou" (old film in french with Michel Piccoli)
@Mishi35 i always thought the movie was about korchnoi and karpov. Lol back in the day when i saw it i actually liked it, but now i can't think of a reason why. Probably just young and stupid lol.
