Hi,
im not good at chess but really would like to play in an over the board tournament.
Is this in some way disrespectful or inappropriate to do so, if I know I would loose every single game?
Or is there any chance to maybe play against other not so high rated people?
What do you think about that?
Should I maybe wait a few years until I become better online?
Also, is there some reference for all existing tournaments? I'm from Germany (NRW) but only can
find posts about "local tournaments" on the web... What are some good resources about that?
Thank you!
edit: I dont know what I tried to google before, but I guess this is a good resource for fide tournaments -
am I right? ^^

Although, tournaments listed there appear to only be for "professional" or club players...
